Vance Burberry ACS

Since first embarking upon his career as a stagehand in one of Sydney’s theatre companies, cinematographer Vance Burberry has become a true craftsman of camera and light. A visual storyteller at heart, Vance’s experience has allowed him to bridge theatrical and concert lighting techniques with those in cinema in order to bring the director’s vision to life. In addition, Vance’s love of the ocean and diving has brought forth a niche expertise capturing the underwater world through a cinematic lens, of which he actively shares with up and coming filmmakers through his NAUI sanctioned underwater cinematography course. Vance is a proud accredited member of the Australian Cinematographers Society (ACS). Vance was honored at the 2022 Camerimage Festival with a Golden Frog Award for Achievement in Music Video.
